Welcome to Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, Rockingham. We are situated in the centre of Rockingham giving easy access to the suburbs of Rockingham, Safety Bay, Waikiki, Warnbro, Baldivis, Port Kennedy, Shoalwater Bay, Cooloongup and Leda.
The school has a strong emphasis on the teaching of Religion and its philosophy is based on Gospel values. Class masses are conducted on a weekly basis and there are frequent Sacramental opportunities. Star of the Sea is a triple stream school and takes enrolments from Kindergarten through to Year Six.
We recognise parents as the first and most important educators of children and encourage parents to participate in the life of the school. There are many opportunities for parents to be involved, from classroom assistance to being active members of the Parents and Friends Association or the School Board.
Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is proud of the standard of education it offers in a friendly and caring environment. Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. A broad curriculum is offered including Information Communication Technology, Sport, Music including an Instrumental Programme and a Literacy Support Programme. The school is resourced with a well equipped computer lab, interactive whiteboards, excellent playground facilities and oval.
